That is precisely what happened with this staircase, where our client decided to accentuate a modern cut-string design with a glass panel balustrade that mimics the form of the staircase.
Modern Staircase For The Modern Home
Although this staircase design includes several contemporary features, it does not feel too cold or out of place in the home thanks to the use of beautiful oak treads. The texture of the oak grain is put front and centre thanks to the use of white-primed risers and string that keep the aesthetic uncomplicated. Keeping with an angular theme, the newels and handrail have a square profile and the same white-primed/oak colour scheme. Many modern homes seek to achieve a bright and spacious design; in this case the staircase has helped to achieve this as the glass balustrade allows natural light to flow through the space, while white-primed components keep everything bright and airy.
