This is a wide staircase with 1147mm overall strings, the balustrade at the top as a turning of over 3000mm therefore an intermediate newel post has been used to provide extra support, as can be seen in the images. The staircase features a cut string with scotia beneath the treads, the strings are wide at 1147mm overall. Our customer opted for a 70mm x 70mm oak handrail.
